Alanna Andersen

Alanna is a Thought Leader and Freelance Enthusiast with big-picture ideas that deliver relatability to global brands. After receiving a certificate in Entertainment Management from Trebas Institute, she was a Tour Manager and Booking Agent for several international and local artists, including Grammy-Nominated Producer Linden Jay. After travelling across Canada and working in the high-stress music industry, she decided to settle down in Toronto where she managed multiple bustling restaurants and cafés across the city. She devoted that time to travelling the world, including visiting her two top destinations: Indonesia and Japan. 

When the pandemic halted life as we knew it, Alanna decided to re-route her career by using skills she had amassed throughout the last decade. She completed a Proofreading and Editing course with Knowadays (prev. Proofreading Academy) and began her freelancing business, Alanna Andersen Freelancing Services, where she offers proofreading and editing, content and copywriting, email marketing, and social media management. She delivers exceptional marketing campaign design, career portfolios, business communication, YouTube scripts, website content, and social media support, then tops it all off with superior proofreading and editing that ensures a unique brand voice and outstanding grammar.

Alanna is a self-proclaimed jack of all trades, with a vast amount of life experience that has taught her the ins and outs of several industries. When she’s not working with her clients, she’s travelling the world, dancing to live music, and watching horror films with her cats.
